recent funding controversy

Tuesday 3 February 2015

An AAP supporter has a very interesting take on this recent funding controversy.

"Until a few years ago, just 2-3 days before a blockbuster release, a dubious fellow would hold a press conference, claim his script was stolen & would ask for courts for stay on movie release! That timing helped. With not enough time to investigate the truth, hefty out of court settlements could be extracted. Until, courts began to quash such blackmailers. And blackmail did not work any longer.

THIS TIME, THE COURTS ARE THE PEOPLE.

For a transaction of 5th April 2014, why a Press Conference on 2nd Feb 2015?

If AAP had something to hide, why would they put it up? I welcome AAP demand for a Supreme Court inquiry into funding of AAP BJP and Congress.

Meanwhile, you the court, the people, need to make choices that will determine whether positive development agenda will be seen as drivers of vote. Or malicious blackmail and distortion.

We think Delhi's people have decided for the better."
